Flowers aren’t just pretty colors and scents.

Flowers are memories!

My name is Teresa Brewster and I am the owner of Treasures at the Barn. I run a home-based flower farm. I’d love to tell you a story about how it all began, but to be honest all of my memories have led me to this point. From using grass blades to make a funny sound blowing air between my thumbs, or picking the honeysuckle flowers at my best friend’s house and drawing out the nectar with the pistil or living down the street from the Luther Burbank Home and Garden’s in my 20’s and the list goes on and on. I’ve always been fascinated by nature. Before the craziness of family life, I continued to explore the love of these tiny mysteries of nature while attending Sonoma State University and receiving a bachelor degree in Biology. I’m dedicated to my family and work-life balance, but stay fascinated by flowers growing right outside my front door. I’m currently a member of the ASCFG and the Sacramento Chrysanthemum Society.

I sell my flowers wholesale and retail to local markets, shops, designers, artists, friends, family and everything in-between.

My budding business is moving along. As with any business, it’s challenging to do it all. If you want to support my growing business and flowers aren’t your thing, please do! I’m saving up for a greenhouse and high tunnel.
